REFUND POLICY

Effective Date: March 1, 2026

This Refund Policy sets out the rules governing ticket refunds, cancellations, postponements, and related matters on the Paradise Pay platform. It is designed as a standalone policy that event organizers can adopt, customize, and plug into their event listings.

Paradise Pay is an event ticketing and experience platform and does not itself organize events unless explicitly stated.

1. General Principles

  • All ticket sales on Paradise Pay are governed by the refund policy selected by the event organizer.

  • Unless an organizer states otherwise, all ticket sales are final.

  • Paradise Pay facilitates ticketing and payments but does not independently determine refund eligibility.

2. Organizer-Defined Refund Options

Event organizers may choose and clearly communicate one of the following refund structures:

  • No Refunds: Tickets are non-refundable under all circumstances.

  • Conditional Refunds: Refunds issued only under specific conditions (e.g., event cancellation).

  • Partial Refunds: Refunds excluding service or processing fees.

  • Credits or Transfers: Tickets converted to credits or transferred to another event.

*The selected option must be disclosed on the event page before ticket purchase.*

3. Event Cancellation

If an event is cancelled:

  • The organizer is responsible for deciding whether refunds will be issued.

  • Paradise Pay may facilitate refunds on behalf of the organizer where funds are available.

  • Refund timelines depend on the payment method used and third-party provider processing times.

*Paradise Pay is not responsible for organizer insolvency or failure to fund refunds.*

4. Event Postponement or Rescheduling

Where an event is postponed or rescheduled:

  • Tickets may remain valid for the new date or venue.

  • Organizers may, at their discretion, offer refunds within a defined time window.

Material changes (including date, venue, or headline acts) should be communicated promptly to ticket holders.

5. Event Modifications

Changes to supporting acts, schedules, or event programming do not automatically qualify for refunds unless stated by the organizer.

6. Processing Fees

  • Paradise Pay service fees, payment processing fees, or convenience charges may be non-refundable.

  • Fees are refundable only where required by law or explicitly stated by the organizer.

7. Mobile Money and Cross-Border Refunds

  • Refunds to mobile money wallets, debit cards, or international payment methods are subject to provider rules.

  • Processing times, reversals, and limits vary by country and provider.

  • Currency conversion differences, FX losses, or third-party charges may apply.

*Paradise Pay is not responsible for exchange rate fluctuations or provider-imposed fees.*

8. Fraud, Abuse, and Chargebacks

Paradise Pay reserves the right to:

  • Deny refunds where fraud, abuse, or policy violations are suspected.

  • Suspend accounts involved in excessive chargebacks or disputes.

  • Withhold organizer payouts pending investigation.

9. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Policy limits statutory consumer rights available under applicable laws in Ghana or other African jurisdictions.

10. Organizer Responsibility Statement

By listing an event on Paradise Pay, organizers acknowledge that:

  • They are solely responsible for event delivery and refund obligations.

  • Paradise Pay acts only as a facilitation platform.

  • Any disputes arising from refunds are primarily between the organizer and ticket holder.

11. Contact and Support

Ticket holders should first contact the event organizer regarding refund requests. Where applicable, Paradise Pay may assist with facilitation but does not guarantee outcomes.
